Introduction #
In professional 11v11 football field lighting, “brightness” is only half the story. The real challenge lies in precision. Without the right beam angles, a high-power floodlight is just a waste of energy, causing glare for players and light pollution for neighbors.
Today, we are analyzing the official EVERFINE Photometric Test Report for the LEDSportX High-Efficiency Solar Floodlight. We will explore how its 180.77 lm/W efficacy and specialized 30°/60° optics set a new standard for solar-powered sports venues.
1. The Power of High Efficacy: 180.77 lm/W #
According to our latest laboratory test data (Test Report Page 1), the LEDSportX system achieves a total luminous flux of 54,772 lumens at a power consumption of 303W.
Why it matters: In the world of solar lighting, energy is currency. An efficacy of 180.77 lm/W means our system converts battery power into light with world-class efficiency. This allows for smaller solar panels and batteries to achieve longer run times, ensuring the pitch stays lit even after three consecutive rainy days.
2. 30° Beam Angle: The “Long-Range Sniper” #
Our test report shows a Peak Luminous Intensity (Imax) of 117,667 cd for the 30° optic version.
Tactical Advantage: On a standard 11v11 pitch, light poles are typically 12 to 15 meters high. A 30° narrow beam acts as a long-range sniper. It pushes the light into the center of the field (the Center Circle), which is the hardest area to illuminate.
Controlling Light Spill: By focusing the beam, we minimize the “Light Spill” outside the pitch, ensuring that 100% of the solar energy is utilized where the action happens.
3. 60° Beam Angle: Creating Seamless Uniformity #
While the 30° lens handles the distance, the 60° medium beam lens is designed for coverage.
The Hybrid Strategy: We never recommend using only one beam angle for a professional project.
30° Optics: Aimed at the far-side and center areas.
60° Optics: Aimed at the touchlines and the areas closer to the poles.
Result: This combination achieves a Uniformity (U0) of 0.6 or higher, meeting the standards for professional amateur competitions. It eliminates “dark spots” between poles, reducing eye fatigue for players and improving the quality of mobile video recordings.
4. Technical Data Breakdown (From EVERFINE System) #
For engineers and contractors, the numbers speak for themselves:
Max Intensity: 117,667 cd
Beam Angle (50% max): 36.4°
CIE Class: Direct
Color Temperature: Optimized for high-contrast sports visibility.
5. Why verified IES Files Matter #
Data transparency is our priority. Every LEDSportX luminaire comes with a verified IES file generated from this EVERFINE report.
We offer Free Dialux Simulation Services for our clients. By importing our 30° and 60° IES files into your project site plan, we can calculate the exact Lux levels and Uniformity before a single pole is installed. This guarantees project success and avoids costly mistakes.
